Project Spotlight - Beaches Roofing

I posted a little while back about my trip to Sydney: Project Spotlight Harbour Life Charters. I helped out with Ash and Dave on board the John Oxley but part of the trip was also to help out Brad from Beaches Roofing.

Brad was my first ever commercial client, long before I had even started Design by Cheyney. You can see some work I have done for him in the past here. Brad needed his website updated. He needed some keywords put into the backend to up his SEO and Google ranking but he also wanted some fresh photographs of his work vehicles and team and some information updated.

First thing Monday morning, Brad, his employee Rob, his apprentice Cody, and I convoyed to a beautiful beach in Manly to take some images with the beach in the background. The weather wasn’t so beautiful and I was fretting about my camera in the rain but the clouds beautifully diffused the light and eliminated weird shadows. The guys were sweet but slightly camera shy and the weather wasn’t on our side (intermittent showers had us running to the vehicles every 4 minutes for shelter). However, we got a some good shots with the boys looking good and I was able to refresh the website.

I have added a couple of images I took from my phone because I am obsessed with them and will no doubt use these colours and textures in a mood board in the very near future!
